Arizona Premium Mattress Company announces that our best cities for latex mattress sales per capita are Chandler and Tempe, AZ. For some reason these two cities appear to be more eco-friendly vs the rest of Arizona. Since we opened our new larger natural latex bed showroom earlier this year, we’ve been getting an unusual amount of sales from these areas compared to the rest of the Valley of the Sun. Although Phoenix is still our largest overall, based on per capita data the Tempe / Chandler areas still outperform the 6th largest city in the U.S.

I’m still trying to figure out the reasoning behind this increase but my guess is that part of it is that parents are outfitting their sons and daughters getting ready to go to ASU with a much more eco friendly alternativie to the standard faire spring type mattresses or memory foam mattresses. Latex mattresses certainly provide both a hypo-allergenic and non-toxic sleeping environment. Not to mention an extremely durable foam mattress that can be passed down from sibling to sibling as each goes through the education system of our great nation. That would explain the rise in latex mattress sales in Tempe, AZ but what about Chandler?
